Terms of Service

1. Who you are buying from

PTest Pro is sold by [SELLER LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], [TAX OFFICE / TAX NUMBER]. You can reach us at info@mcspsikoloji.com.

2. What you are buying

PTest is free software released under the GNU General Public License v3, and the PTest Pro add-on is distributed under the same licence. The GPL gives you the freedom to use, study, modify and redistribute the code.

What you pay for is therefore not a restriction on that freedom. Your purchase buys a licence key that entitles you to automatic updates delivered to one registered site, and to e-mail support. It is a one-time payment with no recurring fee.

3. One site per licence

A licence key is bound to the first domain on which it is activated. If you need to move a site — for example from a staging domain to the live one — write to us and we will release the binding. If you run several sites, you need a licence for each.

4. Delivery

Delivery is digital. Payment is currently taken by bank transfer; once the transfer is confirmed, your licence key and download are issued to your account and sent to the e-mail address on the order. Please allow one business day for the transfer to appear.

5. Updates and support

Updates are provided for as long as the product is maintained. Support is provided by e-mail and covers installation, licence activation and defects in the plugin. It does not include building your tests for you, statistical consultancy, or clinical interpretation.

6. Your responsibilities as a practitioner

PTest is a tool. It does not diagnose, and it does not decide anything about a person. You remain responsible for:

  • selecting instruments appropriate to your client and setting;
  • holding the rights to any copyrighted test you load into the software. PTest ships only freely reproducible instruments as samples, and we grant you no rights to any other instrument;
  • interpreting results, and for the clinical and legal consequences of that interpretation;
  • the lawful processing of your clients’ personal data on your own site.

7. No warranty

Consistent with the GPL, the software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it is free of defects, or that any scoring output is fit for a particular clinical purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the software is limited to the amount you paid for the licence, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

9. Refunds

See our Refund and Returns Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
